About Us

Elektronik i Norden

An important tool for the Nordic electronic industry
Ever since the start in 1992 we’ve had the same goal. We want Elektronik i Norden to be the most important source of information for professionals in the Nordic electronic industry. And with a circulation of 26 200 personally addressed copies (25 638 documented in November 2007, 25 000 documented by TS for 2006) we are clearly the major electronics paper in the Nordic area. Surveys prove our combination of news, comments and in-depth technical articles to be the correct mix for our readers.

The Nordic profile and the circulation in the all of the Nordic countries (Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark) have also proven successful. The Northern region has a long history of cooperation. Similar languages and a common background make it easy for companies to work together. A good example is the Öresund area, where the cities Copenhagen, Malmö and Lund are starting to look like one big city.

Our next step, interactivity
But we have areas where we need to improve, and the most important one is interactivity on Internet. That’s why we launched our new website in January 2008, with a much better focus on interactivity. We continue to publish an electronic version of the complete printed paper on the web, but now with increased interactivity. Up to now we have had ”clickable ads”, now we also get ”clickable articles” with reader comments. Blogs, chat groups and forums are also ways of making the page more personal and interactive.

Readers who want to get a feel for the history can look into the new ”Wall of Fame” picture database. In there they will find a growing part of our gigantic picture archive.
And of course there are the standard fast news and a newsletter. The newsletter is available from the start.

As usual we are interested in comments and contributions from our readers. You are welcome to contact any one of our individual editors or by email to redaktionen@elinor.se
